On the links page of our site
    http://www.peacetraveler.com/index.php/common-ground/

The links, regardless of what category they are put into, all show up in a long list. No category listing. I have been throughout the WordPress links manager area but can't find what do do. If you want to reply via email that would be terrific.

I'm going to guess you are using the get_links Template tag. You might consider using the get_links_list Template tag instead.

    See: Template_Tags/get_links_list

Is there a way to get the get_links_list to not have the <li id="linkcat-1"> ahead of each category? I'm guessing it's going to take a hack...

It doesn't have "linkcat-1" in front of each category: it shows the actual category ID#.

I knew that would come back at me. What I meant was that I want to have it listed as a header rather than a list item. In other words
    <h2>category 1 title</h2>

    • link 1
    • link 2

    <h2>category 2 title</h2>

    • link 3
    • link 4

Is there a way to do that without a major headache?
