Hi
I have been trying to promote my links on sites such as Digg. Each time I post I put a link to the blog I have written such as:
http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog/?p=255.
However, I've noticed that when I then check these links it actually goes to the blog page but shows up my dashboard as well.
1. should I only give http://www.mummyratesit.co.uk and NOT the individual blog number
2. Does this mean everyone can see and therefore enter my dashboard or does this just happen to me on my computer.
3. Is it something to do with my settings?
At the moment they are:
Wordpress address:http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog
site address: http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog
Thanks for your help

Do you mean the admin bar at the top of the page? If so, that only shows up for you and logged in users. If you;re the only user with a login, it's only you that can see it.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. What I mean is I write an article, submit a link to Digg such as: http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog/?p=255
I believe (I say believe as I don't really know what I'm doing) that it's then good practice to actually click on that link from Digg yourself. When I do this though I get the blog but also with the admin bar on the top and I'm worried that everyone sees this.
I was worried that I was giving people access to my admin. I thought that maybe it is because my settings are not set up properly:
Wordpress address:http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog
site address: http://mummyratesit.co.uk/blog
So I guess you've answered my first question (I can only see the Admin page because of cookies?) But my second one is should I have the settings as they are above? Should they both be going to the same address?
Phew! Thanks if you got this far!

Based on what you've told me, yes, both settings should point to the same address.
