Linking "travelogue" posts to one another? (4 posts)

Ages, possibly months ago, before I setup my blog, I knew WordPress was for me because I saw someone who had posted a travelogue like this:
Each "journey" had ONE link on the main page, but within that, it acted like a normal blog (in "proper", not reverse date order, though), BUT had a "next stop" sort of forward and backward link at the top.
Of course, I didn't make a note of the plugin he was using, nor did I bookmark the site. But I wasn't imagining it, and it was definitely WordPress! Any ideas? Many thanks

He be using a plugin, but he also may have set up multiple installations of wordpress.

However, most likely he put each journey in its own category, and then customised the templates a little bit.

Actually, sorry, this dude is apparently on a mission from god, so he's posted the theme on his homepage http://www.podq.com/
