How do you use the link button in the text editor so that when someone hovers over the text on your blog, a line appears under the text and they are directed to a site?
When I press the link button, I get: This website is using scripted window....? what does that mean?
Fill in the Title box what you want to say when mouse hovers a link. The scripted window message is your security settings in the browser.
"If you trust the website and want to allow the scripted window, click the Information Bar, and then click Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows. To always allow scripted windows, check the Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows custom security setting." - Microsoft

Hi Dralezero
Thanks for your help. I got as far as a blue line appears under all
the text and when I press on it,I will be directed to the website,
except the text where I want to go to the website.
Instead I get the message: The address is not valid.
Also: what do you mean by "the Title box"?
The title box of my blog or the name of the link?
To always allow scripted windows, I have to check the Allow websites
to prompt for information using scripted windows custom security
settings." Where do I find that?
Which broswer are you using? The message you are seeing is a browser-generated warning, and nothing to do with WordPress as such.
