• How to I get wp to automatically create links to each page I create, so that there is a list automatically there.

I have created 5 pages in my site, but none of them link to each other – there is no contents.

How do I either a) get wp to automatically add a link to each page,
    or,
if that is not possible, b) hoe do I create links to my own pages?

I am very very new to wp and have been finding it extremely difficult to use !!

  • If you use wordpress default theme like Twenty Ten all new pages will automatically be put in the main menu. (I think most themes does this)

If they don’t in your case try to go to Appearance -> Menus, and create your own menu there. Then select your menu as under Primary Navigation and save. You will however have to manually enter new pages if you use this option.

If your theme does not support menus try to add your newly created menu in a widget. (Appearance -> Widgets). Drag and drop the “custom menu” widget to one of your widget areas.

Be aware that posts and pages acts in a different way. Posts will not automatically be put into your main menu in any case.
