I want to add a link up top on my website for my archives beside home and about... how do I go about doing this? I'm not sure what the tag or link would be. I also want to add a search somewhere on my page. Probably on the bottom under the "about me section" how can I do that?

I went to the ScribbleScratch Web site to take a look at the theme you are using but the download links for all the themes appear to be broken.

Is there an instruction page included with the theme? How did you get all of the other navigation link pages up there?

I have permalinks set up so linking to my about page I just type in http://storyboutagirl/about/ I thought it would work with the archives but I just get a page not found... So I'm not sure how I link to my archives.

Your About Page has nothing to do with your archives.
What happens when you create a Page titled Archives?

When you say you have permalinks set up, for example linking to your About page, do you mean you had to go into a .php file, probably header.php, and manually enter some <a href=""></a> to create the links?

To link to an archives page, the page would have to exist first, otherwise the page would not be found. There isn't a default archives page. You would have to create an Archive page, and would probably need a theme that has an archive page template.
