Linking gallery/album to custom post types

    Hi,

    Is there a possibility to link a gallery/album to a different post types? when I open a dropdown “Link to page” I can see only pages list. I have a custom post type “Services” and I want the galleries to be linked to “Services pages”. But I do not see those pages in the “Link to page” dropdown. When editing gallery there is also an option to create a page that the gallery will be linked to. This would also need to be canged to create a new page with custom post_type.
    I found where to change it, but the change will be lost with every upgarde. What can I do to achieve what I want without loosing it with every upgrade?
