Linking circles to Categories

Hello,

I have read some discussions about linking circles to categories instead of posts.

You could probably create a child theme with a custom page template that uses one of these functions, then style the output to look like the circles by copying the styles from the parent theme’s style.css:

Is there any other way that alreay answered and I missed or how can we apply this solution.
