Hi

I am trying to get LinkedIn to authorize my Microblog Poster ‘app’ and I get the following message: Invalid redirect_uri. This value must match a URL registered with the API Key.

I have looked at the two places I have a web address (website url and OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs)and they are the same. However, I have since read that unless you have registered with LinkedIn, it will not authorize you.

Does this apply to Microbog Poster? Is there a fix for this?

For ‘OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs’, enter the Url such as:
http://your-blog-url/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=microblogposter.php

Basically this is the url when you’re on the settings page of MicroblogPoster. It should work like this.

Hi, I followed your instructions:(For ‘OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs’, enter the Url such as:

But still get the same error message as Grey Gosling

Any thoughts? Thanks!

(Hope I can get it to work! Seems like an awesome app)

For ‘OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs’ you have to enter the url when you’re on the settings page of MicroblogPoster, in your admin area. Because you’re redirected to there when autorizing with Linkedin.

Normally no other step is required except registering/saving the right redirect url in you App settings (‘OAuth 2.0 Redirect URLs’).
