I have linked the form to infusionsoft which works great... is there a way though that on submit of the form, it just shows a submit confirmation on the wordpress page like a green check box or a thank you instead of sending the user off to an infusionsoft splash page?

on the infusionsoft side, I can set the from_action to just redirect back to the page that the form is on (instead of going to the infusionsoft page), but that doesnt give them any confirmation as to if the send off was successful or not.

I guess Im hoping there is some way to still initiate the form_action to infusionsoft on click but also keep the user on page and show a confirmation.

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

At this stage, that's beyond the scope of the plugin. The current workaround is to have a "Thanks for subscribing" page on your site that users are redirect to.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply... I knew it was beyond the plugin's scope, I was just hoping for a magical php workaround. How about a possible future feature request then?

    5 stars given... Thanks

    CGrasso,

This is outside the scope of the plugin, but as recommended, you can redirect the user back to your site onto a Page. I am developing one of our sites with both this plugin (on top of Genesis), and this method works well. The benefit of doing it this traditional way is the use of Goal tracking in Google Analytics.

However, I am equally curious to see how to accomplish this via the use of AJAX or similar so it's easy and doesn't necessitate a couple page loads.

The AJAX route is interesting to me. AJAX and JS in general are weak links for me, so I'll have to play a little catch up there.

The issue, for the sake of the plugin, is, I believe, I'd have to have some custom API work for each mail provider in order so the plugin knows how to transmit the info to the service and how to process the response.

It's on the list to investigate.
