Hello,
I create a gallery and insert it into a post. I want to make it so when i click a picture from the gallery it goes to a page i have created. So if there are 10 pics in the gallery i can click each one and they will go to 10 different pages. The way it is now, is if i click the pic, it goes to a page which just contains the image.
How do i do this?
I have tried changing the "link url" but that doesnt work.
Is it possible?

when you added the image, there is a section there to load it to another page, you probably missed that part. go back and try again where it asks you to enter the page where you want the image to take you too once it's clicked on.

I don;t know if this is what you're looking for, but there is a plug-in called Yet Another Photo Blog that allows you to add a picture to a post, and you can add text to the post.
if you use that, put your related pictures (posts) into the same category, and then create a link to that category, it will show the thumbnails of each post, which the reader can click onto to open that post.

There is no option. There are 3 buttons under "link URL" which are none, file URL post URL but if i press any of these and go to save it defaults back to the image URL. If i manually type in the URL of the page and save it does the same, defaults back to the URL of the image.

If i go manage>media library>image-name.jpg There is no option to link it to any page, and the permalink is what the image is linked to on the post it appears.
If i insert an image into a post i can click the "link" button in the WYSIWYG editor and change the link, however because i am using the gallery the images arent inserted into the post, the [gallery] tag is used.

freefall_y2k, I am getting this error too and it is thoroughly frustrating. No matter what I try it reverts to putting in the default link to the image. When I save changes it also only wants to save it as a medium-sized image and not as a thumbnail, no matter how many times I try. This bug definitely needs to be fixed.

I would love to figure this one out. Every time I enter the URL into the field and hit save it reverts back to the default. Pretty annoying...
If I enter the URL into the field and then hit add image to post, it will have the correct URL, but I want it as a gallery not an individual image.
