Link to a photo gallery or page

I want to add a picture on my post and have it link to another post page with a series of similiar photos inline in a single post. A site that I have used as an example is http://www.englishrussia.com . It is a photoblog and is how I want to set mine up, although I don’t know where his library of photos is located. Is he storing them on a drive or linking to them?

Unless,,,,,someone is aware of a more efficient and effective way of doing this.
