thanks to the genius Moshu… (he’s good at breaking this stuff down so that minds like mine can get it)…
anyway thanks to Moshu I have a site that runs the Loop, and runs a couple of nice plug-ins.

But. When I click a link to read the page direct or if I have have the stories are long and I don’t want to show them all – the resulting page called is correct (sometimes) but without access to the css file (I didn’t move it) – or a “null page” (meaning a page I have in the directory that has no data on it) comes up.

I get something different depending on how I have the “Permalinks” set-up.

If I have it set-up “dirty” (the default) it returns to the index page (with no new data showing – likely because there is no “Loop” on the index)

With it set up as “Date and Name based” – clicking on the story link provides a page without the linked css file (just text).

With “Numeric” selected – clicking on the story link provides a page without the linked css file (just text).

I’ve tried this with one of the “Static Home” plug-in (Filosofo Home-Page Control) – and it makes no difference…

—I’ve read (and re-read) the Permalinks Codex pages – but I’ve no clue.

    anyone? help?
