may this will help: When i click on “Protect Download with wpLike2Get” and save the media the box gets unchecked again. Also when i go to the media library and check the “Protect Download with wpLike2Get” box again, it gets unchecked after i hit save. Could it be that the plugin is incompatible with other plugins?

this is not a bug. The checkbox is only used as a trigger for insertig the l2g shortcode instead of the html code of the attachment. The checkbox selection is never saved.
And yes, in the past other users have conflicts with AddThis.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll try to deactivate Addthis, unfortunatey it didn’t help. I tested it in browser: Chrome and Firefox.
Have no other ideas. Maybe any browserplugin is in conflict with the plugin?! Have you tested it with the default theme?
