I have the catablog set up on default template. images down the left hand side, with the titles and descriptions on the right.
when you click the titles you go to a different pages of the website. i would like the images to link to the same pages as there titles. seems simple but cant do it, think you have to change tokens but just cannot figure it out!! please help! Thankyou

    Hi Chris,

Could you please tell me what theme you are using and post a link to your site? That way I can tell you exactly what file to modify.

    Cheers!

You must replace the %MAIN-IMAGE% token with some of your own HTML. You can use the %IMAGE-THUMBNAIL% and the %LINK% tokens instead. Don't forget to use the CataBlog CSS classes in your HTML and good luck.

I believe my question also applies to this doubt:

I only want to completely remove the 'image link' to itself on my "product".

    Example:
I have the image and the description.
When I 'mouse over' the image it has a link that will open the same image on a blank page and I'd like to remove this. Leave the image with no link.

    How can I do that?

Thank you so much in advance!

You may change the tokens in the CataBlog Option's template tab, that is where you have access to control exactly how your catalog is rendered in HTML. You may read more about tokens and the CataBlog template system at http://catablog.illproductions.com/documentation/making-custom-templates/

    Hey Man,

I have the exact same issue but can't figure it out. @macguru2000 u think you could be more specific on how to solve this and have the image link to the same link as you define the header?

I have tried wrapping the Main Image with an anchor tag as so

    <a href="%LINK%">%MAIN-IMAGE%</a>

I thought that might overwrite the link to the image but it does not work.

Would love some help or pointers!

    Cheers

    Redwall,

so the %MAIN-IMAGE% token will create an anchor tag as well as the main image, instead try something like this:

    <a href="%LINK%"><img src="%IMAGE-THUMBNAIL%" alt=""/></a>

    Cheers and good luck
