   I'm trying to link some images a photographer friend is allowing us to use on our blog, directly to her site.

   However, every time I update the link using the link button, it reverts back to the file destination url in my image gallery.

   How do I fix this?

   I'm having the exact same problem with Thematic theme and TinyMCE editor.
