I dont know how linked in is pulling is page descriptions.

Most likely the pages meta description.

You can set your meta descriptions with an SEO plugin like http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

We don’t set/change any meta description for pages

I have the meta descriptions set. Why would one link work and the other not? Are you saying this could be an issue with linkedin?

Yes. Its probably linkedin. We don’t control how linkedin does any of their descriptions.

They may have cached the page (and meta) before you set the meta?

    Not 100% sure.

Unfortunately there isn’t anything we can do on our end.

You are correct. I just found a forum and the linkedin idiots only clear the cache once a week for shared links, which is ridiculous!
