Link Description wierdness

    I’m using the March 16th build and I have some strange behavior in the links.php section of my menu. For some items it just shows the link, with the “description” as a pop-up box when you hover. However, for some posts, it actually shows the text next to the link. I don’t know why the behavior is inconsistent like this.

    I finally figured this out. Some of my links were in the pre-defined “link” category, while others were in a new category I had created. I had not paid attention when creating a new category, but you can set what is “shown” for each category. I had one set to show descriptions, and the other set not to.

    Thanks for posting your finds out, as I just came looking for the exact same thing. Now to see if I can find where to fix it… 🙂
