Link Categories reverting to blank

I recently found on a number of my sites that for a number of my individual blogroll links that the category is now reverted to blank (even though the category still exists as a choosable option). I have recently upgraded all sites to 3.3.1 btu don’t know if this happened before or after. Anybody else seeing a similar problem?
