I have been trying for days to find a way to make the author's name at the top of each blog show up as a hyperlinked to a page that will display that author's personal user_description along with other personal information. I have search and found nothing that works of course, I'm not the hottest of programmers but still nothing accomplished.

Couldn't you have a Page for each author's information then in a header menu (see Orange Sky Theme for example) just point to those Pages.

Also interesting new Level10-blog-matrix-plugin has some neat author related tricks. Also see demo at:

Not what I am looking for. I don't want to have to create static pages for each author...I want them created on the fly from a hyperlink on the author's name that is pulled each time a blog is brought up on the browser. When the link on the author's name on the blog is clicked on, it should call the fly page and provide that author's id # to the fly page where you would have the php code to pull that info from the database. That's what I need and I know it can be done, but unfortunately, I'm not the one to do it.
