    What exactly is the link?

YouTube Links need to somehow look like this

    [http(s)://](www.)youtu.be/ELEVENCHARS(?random=13)(?t=1m3s)
    [http(s)://](www.)youtube.com/watch?v=ELEVENCHARS(?random=13)(?t=1m3s)
    [http(s)://](www.)youtube.com/v/ELEVENCHARS(?random=13)(?t=1m3s)

    Everything in brackets is optional.

Mhh.. Never got this problem before. The YouTube API returns an error for this video:
    Errorcode 150.
Regarding to the documentation this means that "the owner of the requested video does not allow it to be played in embedded players".

Still weird: Directly using the iframe embed code in the post works just fine. Maybe the video was blocked earlier and they opened it up again.

I will add a "force embed" checkbox to the next version and post back here when implemented pre-release. Cannot add this right away, sry. Seems to be a YouTube regarded bug.

@jamesdonega: For which video URL do you encounter the problem?

I noticed it occurs when the video in question is blocked in the country the server is located it. YouTube does not just block the video for those IPs, but also the API.

It's associated with http://www.finisjhung.com -- sort-of hacked a WordPress install for the blog page. The WP directory is http://www.finisjhung.com/catalog/blog/

What I meant is the URL of the Video you are trying to embed. http://youtube.com/.....

I just addressed this in Version 1.6.

The input box has a red background - but the video works just fine. What's going on?
With every video you insert into the meta box the plugin tries to access the API of the according video provider to grab information about the video and pull an image. When this API access fails the input box gets a red background. When for example the server you are using is located in Germany it cannot access the YouTube API for videos blocked in this country - still you and your visitors might be able to watch the videos as normal. The plugin cannot test for this.

If not resolved please report back.
