The links in my sidebar are fine except for one thing--they have a big "O" after the link. So how do I remove this?

without seeing the site, it is virtually impossible to help you with your question.
is this genuine for the theme you are using, or did you make any edits before this problem started?
theme name and download link (if it is a free theme)?
link to your site?
