I have searched and searched for the limitpost plugin but can not find it. To see what I am talking about go to my site: http://mosaicmercy.com and look in the red box at top. In the box it says “Activate the limitpost plugin to see the post contents !”

Anybody know where this plugin is located so I can download it? Thanks

Thank you for helping. I ended up with a satisfied headache and figured it out.

I have the exact same problem. Can you post a link to the .zip for the plugin?

@akajimmy, Go to MichaelH link he provided. Coy and paste the code on to word. Save it as a Text (.txt). Save it to your desktop. Go to your desktop and right click on the file you just saved and select to compress the file. This should make a .zip file for you.

Go to your wp-admin dashboard –>Plugins –>Add New.

From here you will want to upload the .zip file.

Everything else should be self explanatory. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

I have WP 2.9 and the error I get when I try to load the code above as a plugin says that there isn’t a valid header or something and doesn’t show up in the plugin list.

any ideas or any chance that it can be updated to WP 2.9 ?

    Thanks!

The above fix works, but the file needs to be saved as .php not .txt for it to work.

So, copy the code for the pluggin, save it as limitposts.zip, zip it up, upload it as a pluggin and activate it. Voila!

Hope that helps, it took an hour on Google getting nowhere, then a look at how pluggins are structured to come up with this now obvios solution!
