Limiting galleries short in album shortcode

Hi there,

Is there a way to limit the number of galleries shown under an album shortcode? If not, how do I hard-code this into the page template?

I’m looking to limit the galleries shown to one or two, and when they click on the winter link, it show all galleries – i.e.
http://velvetgrooves.co.uk/blackberry/floral-gallery/winter/

Any ideas?
