Limiting Categories in Poster-board View

I already have a calendar page and an agenda view page used for registration. Now I want a FEATURED EVENT page in Posterboard view. I have some events that are under a Category of featured event.
How do I alter the [ai1ec view=”posterboard”] to include the code: cat_id=”featured event” I have not found the correct combination to reflect the two things I want to combine.
Anyone successfully do this?
