My site, http://www.cogperspective.org, has several categories, but it seems that the WPTouch plugin limits how many can be displayed. For example, the "Calendar" category does not show, even though it is there and listed on the desktop browser.
We don't see "categories" as part of your desktop theme's main menu but we do see it as a sidebar. By default, WPtouch and WPtouch Pro strip out sidebars as a means to streamlining your site for mobile use.
I apologize, but I don't quite follow. Shouldn't that mean that no categories show up instead of just some of them?
No, I apologize. I thought you meant in the top level of your menu. You mean the category menu and yes, the free version of WPtouch's category menu is limited to the top 35 categories as determined by the number of posts in each.
OK, thanks. That explains it. I'll have to investigate whether I want to go Pro or not, but in any event I've been meaning to clean up the categories as it stands anyhow.
