limit number of user pages

    Hi,
    does anybody know if it’s possible to limit the number of Pages (not posts) an individual user can write.
    Say, I want them to have 5 Pages max., if they try to write the 6th they should only be able to edit/delete the existing ones.

    Did you ever find a solution to this?

    We are looking into the best way to allow a user to edit only their own page.

    ie basically let someone sign up, and we assign them a single page, and all they can do is edit that page. They can’t do any blog posts or edit any settings, etc.
