    Sorry for the delay, yes my plugin already provides setting for that! Just uncheck checkbox “Post Type Labels & Icons”, see screenshot here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7f8suebiz5z2r7j/screenshot-1.png

    This should do it.

    With the latest WP (3.6) and plug-ins, checking the “Post Type Labels & Icons” only changes the icon and not the label. Any chance it’s from Document Revisions 1.3.6?

    This thread was already resolved, please always open a new thread for every question!

    To your issue:
    Cannot reproduce that — are you sure you also un-checked the last setting? Otherwise it will load the “Downloads” wording from the language files (also if on an US/ English install!). Could you test with the last setting un-checked, that should do it :).
