   I recently installed wordpress on a sub-directory because I already had a fully functional site in my root directory. Is there a way to slowly replace my existing root pages (index, about me, contact, etc.) with WP pages, even though it's not installed in the root directory???

   I would really like to avoid a total website rebuild if I can.
