    The Facebook plugin for WordPress matches the locale reported by your WordPress site with a valid Facebook locale to load the appropriate version of the Facebook JavaScript SDK and render social plugin buttons (Like, Send, etc.) in the appropriate language. The matched locale is stored as the fb_locale transient for 24 hours to prevent needing to remap a specified WordPress locale to a Facebook locale with each page load.

    You can override the response from get_transient using a pre transient filter to suit your six language use case.
