   I'm wondering if anyone has encountered the same situation? My sidebar widgets all disappeared and refused to come back on after I did a theme update to 1.8.1.

   How did you make them come back on again?

   Please update to 1.8.3 (via theme settings).

   Thanks Andrei. I updated it to 1.8.3, and the sidebar widgets are still not there.

   Yes that is the one! I'm using Firefox 3.0. For some reason, the widgets came back just right about the time you posted.
