Hi, after migration of wordpress from test to live environment (domain to domain migration) thumbnails are opened to single page and not to lightbox. We checked inspector in Chrome, and nextgen plugin is still looking for old domain. Moreover this issues influence display speed of page with gallery.
    Any resolution?

    Thanks a lot.
    Jakub

version 1.7, same problem after WP update πŸ™

I never update WP as soon as possible, usually there are problems with other plugins. At least in 2 or 3 days after, or the best way in 1 week =)

Thank you @photocrati for all the recent updates.

For the record, the Shutter Lightbox effect still does not work on single images embedded in posts or pages. It does work when clicking on thumbnails in galleries. For single images, however, the image file itself displays. All paths are correct in advanced settings and css class is applied properly to image links.

Gallery examples with correct Lightbox effect:

Single image examples with broken lightbox effect:

    WP v. 3.6.1 (not multisite)
    NGG v. 2.0.21

i have relied on your plugin.

    you keep messing with it.

    it keeps having problems.

it keeps causing me grief and others, nobody wants that.

why cant you leave it alone.

if its not broke dont fix it.

move on to a another plugin.

    the myspace syndrome.

I still have a problem with jQuery Colobox extension (and also BJ Lazy Load) since the last update.
If I desactivate NGG, those two extensions works again.

    WP : 3.6.1
    NGG : 2.0.21

In fact, it looks like a js order problem.
I saw NGG put his js on the very last position, after other extensions js. It was like this before ?

I am having an issue with Lightbox as well except mine seems to be a little different from everyone else. When I go to the Lightbox and click on Show Advanced Settings, mine is blank. I have inserted it several times, but I can’t get it to stay.

The blog is http://merrimackvalleymarealestate.com/ and when you use the plugin, it just displays “no images found”

Any help to resolve this would be great.

Here is the error log that I am getting that relates to my issue:

I rolled the plugin back to 1.9.13 and it works fine now.

I noticed this in the latest version (v.2.0.23):

Fixed: Lightbox effect is honoured by all display types

So I attempted to test the lightbox effect on an individual image in a post. I am, however, now unable to embed a NGG image in a post. After selecting the image from the NextGen gallery in the Add Media pop-up and clicking Insert into post, the pop-up does not go away and the image does not embed. Instead, the pop-up just refreshes with a blank white screen except for the NextGen Gallery title and media menu options on the left.

Closing the window reveals that only a paragraph return with non-breaking space was inserted into the post.

    Sigh…

I have upgraded NGG to the 2.0.23 version, but jQuery Colorbox still doesn’t works…

Updated NGG just now, and now absolutely NOTHING works! No images show up, just the number of my gallery. Ready to change everything!

I have updated a few sites to the most recent version, and none of the lightboxes work any more. This was one of my favorite plugins I used it on tons of sites, but it appears it is no longer viable. I would recommend photocrati puts an older version back out for download until which time they have everything worked out.

    +1 for the older version
