I need to resize the box that a single image is in the sidebar. If you look on my homepage

    http://www.virginiabridetoday.com/

The top is a single, one-column image, that I need to resize to at least 250px or so.

I can resize it so that the whole image is 250px but it’s stretched and still cutoff on the sides. I need the whole image to appear correctly within the sidebar. And I definitely only want to style this one instance.

    Can you help?

Hi, Simple Lightbox has no effect on how images are displayed on the page, but rather how links are displayed when they are clicked on. For more information, see SLB’s Beginner’s Guide

As for your image, I’m guessing you’re referring to the logo in the sidebar? It looks like WordPress’ auto-generated thumbnail-sized image is being used, which can be a cropped version of the original image.

I would recommend creating an image on your computer to the exact dimensions that you want it to be displayed at (e.g. 250px wide, etc.) and insert the original image into the sidebar, not WordPress’ auto-generated thumbnail.

That way the full quality image will be displayed as you designed it to be.
