Lightbox Image Sizes: Preventing resizing (6 posts)

    Hey,

On my website ( http://www.danielspellman.com ) when a image is clicked, the lightbox resizes the image to fit the user's browser / screen. This is incredibly bad for a photography website because this resizing looks horrible compared to what Photoshop can do. How do I get images displayed in the lightbox to just display fullsize?

    Thankyou :)
    Dan

Well, Dan if you tell us what plugin, if any, you are using that would help us out. I know some plugins have setting adjustments that can be made simply but some require some javascript knowledge or coding knowledge.

Hey jcastaneda, thankyou... I'm not using any image related plugins, I think these image settings are happening with my theme: http://themeforest.net/item/core-minimalist-photography-portfolio/240185

I did try contacting theme support but they are unhelpful. Unfortunately I dont think there are any theme settings that change this :/ And I don't know what to modify in terms of coding... any suggestions?

    Thankyou!

Unfortunately I can't be of much help to you on that since I'm not a coding expert seeing how I am still learning on my own. I do however have the question of how big are the images you are using if you don't want them to be scaled? How big (dimensions) are the photos you are using if you are not liking the result?

Hey, thanks for your response... I've tried a few sizes. Larger images are generally scaled down, and smaller images and generally scaled up! So I lose both ways. SOmeone did give me a link to a forum where you pay a little bit to get coding advice... I may try that...
