hello
I have installed lightbox2 plugin to show images on click on their thumbnails..
I installed plugin , there comes lichtbox 2 plugin options under settings but there is no option how to insert images using this .

To the best of my knowledge, lightbox2 does not embed images into your posts.
You are supposed to upload image files into your posts/pages with the Rich Editor's "embed image" function. To do this, click on the small grey icon above the main buttons in the editor window. Look around, you should be able to find it easily.
Once the image is in your post, it will be opened with lightbox when clicked.
