   Hi, newbi here. I'm creating a new plugin for wordpress and I want to be able to license it. Meaning that the customer must purchase a license key before they can use the plugin. Does anyone have any information on the best way to do this? I'm in the process of a learning curve with wordpress plugin but if someone has done this before then I sure would like to know a easy method.

   You'll have to set up your own website & sell it there. You won't be able to promote it on the WordPress.org plugin repository if it isn't GPL compatible.
