I just installed this, and it looks great, but I want all my authors on my multi-author blog to be able to view the stats within WP without creating a Statcounter account and adding them as a user. I thought the public access for the stats would do this, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Is this possible?

Also, while I would like the stats to be accessible by any author in WP admin with no hassle, I don’t want stats to be public to competitors or other people who can look up my site on the Statecounter site and find my stats.

  • Hi,

You can create users and can assign appropriate rights however this has to be created inside your statcounter.com account. And public stats should work however that will be open stats to anyone visiting your blog.

As per your requirement, I suggest to create users in your statcounter.om account and let your users log-in at statcounter.com, this will give you complete control as to who can view your stats.

    Thanks
