   I want to start a new business for custom WordPress theming and plugins. The domain I own is wordimpress.com. 2 legal questions before I get started with this business:

   1.) Is the name WordImpress an infringement of the WordPress copyright in any way? It has the "Word" and "Press" in the name technically, but is more a play on words, so I'm not sure if it's ok or not.

   2.) My designer friend gave me an idea for the logo with flipping the WordPress "W" logo and using it as the "M" in my WordImpress logo. I'm thinking this one is probably an infringement of the copyright. It's a clever thing he did, but I wanted to be sure it was or wasn't okay by someone that may know better.

   I've been searching the web for answers, but there seems to be a lot of gray area. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks! :-)

   Thanks, but it looks like wordpressfoundation.org is just a title and an image tag with a fatal error. :-/

   Looks like the site developed a problem just after I posted. Give it a day or so. I promise you that it is a very real site.

   Haha, thanks. Looks like my question just came at a bad time. I'll contact them as soon as they are up and running again.
