Hi, when I access my lazy gallery page. I get the following error message.
Warning: opendir(/home/wordpress/Gallery/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/k/o/kouya/public_html/wp-content/plugins/lazy-gallery.php on line 96
Warning: opendir(/home/wordpress/Gallery/): failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/k/o/kouya/public_html/wp-content/plugins/lazy-gallery.php on line 186
Can anyone explain in words of one syllable what I should do?
Many thanks.
Eddie
Try getting the latest version from http://lazyest.keytwo.net/. Deactivate the old one and install the new one. The new version is called lazyest-gallery. It allows you to configure from the Admin-Option menu path.
Will try to use small words.
1. make sure the dir is there.
2. make sure the permissions are correct (try 777 temporarily)
3. make sure the spelling is correct (Gallery vs. gallery)
Thank you for the help. I've taken the various bits of advice offered here. Lazy-est gallery seems to work better, though I still have problems:
1. Thumbnails don't show.
2. I'm not sure how to configure it to work with a three column theme.
Any ideas?
What is the link to your blog?
Whoops, thought I'd posted one. http://www.kouya.net
What is the link to the lazyest-gallery on your blog? You can email me at jwurster at comcast dot net and I'll try to help. Or instant message on MSN or AOL, just let me know.
What is your setting for "gallery folder" ?
the gallery folder setting is \gallery
try putting /gallery or maybe even just gallery
or perhaps gallery/ (notice the trailing slash)
FYI, for mine, it's theGalleryDir/
Sometimes I'm just too stupid for words and can't type to save my life. The gallery director is actually gallery/ (with a trailing slash). Quite why I posted with the wrong slash in the wrong place, I will never know.
When you access:
http://www.kouya.net/wp-content/plugins/lazyest-gallery/lazyest-img.php?file=Lake_District_2005/Bassam_and_Car.JPG&thumb=0
it's supposed to give you an image.
What I get instead is:
Internal Server Error, this is an error with your script, check your error log for more information.
You may want to check and make sure you have all the requirements met for lazy(est)-gallery (i.e. GD Library).
