• Okay, I am very new to WordPress. I’m an old MT user. I want to change to WP and I’ve got it installed, working great, etc. The only thing now I need to figure out is how to effectively match the style for WP to the style for my main site. I had JUST figured out how to do that with MT.
Anyway, what I usually do for my sites is to create a header that contains all the information for opening of pages and such as well as my menu. Then I include that into my pages.
How can I do this with WP? I mean there’s all of those php codes at the top of the index page and such, and I’m not sure what they all do and everything.
    Anyone have any tips?
    (Please forgive my ignorance.)
    Thank you!!
    Anela

  • You can fix css and you can also work with your index.php Requires just a *little* patience to familiarize the structure. If you want to do something ask them specifically like: How do I edit the header part? or How do I change the link “more” to “full story”?
