[resolved] LaTeX and sourcecode and other support as in WordPress.com (2 posts)

Hi, I am new to WordPress but created a WordPress.com account to try it out and really liked the LaTeX and sourcecode support along with other features e.g. the ease of embedding YouTube clips.

For various reasons, primarily so I could customize the TwentyTen theme so that category view would display full content of posts and not excerpts, I decided to install WordPress on a local server (I work at a school). It is up and running fine, except--my beloved LaTeX and sourcecode support aren't there!

I've looked at some plugins, but none seem to offer the same functionality as those at WordPress.com. Is there anyway to just use the same plugins they use over there?

    Thanks!

*Edit: LaTeX seems to be working using the WP-LaTeX plug-in, but I have yet to find one that can emulate the sourcecode features of WordPress.com, with the nice formatting and the nifty toolbar. Thanks.

Hurray for wp-latex and syntaxhighlighter2; I think we're all good.
