Latest Posts on other Web Pages

I am planning on doing a site for a client. It is a normal static website using .php

The client wants a blog on a seperate directory e.g. http://www.webaddress.com/blog/ – this is where I am putting the wordpress blog for them. They have a number of other pages in the normal site designed already.

My question is can I put a link in the other pages, eg, http://www.webaddress.com/index.php that shows what the latest posts are on the blog? It would be located in a side bar on the pages?
