Hello, I am having problems having some of my posts shown up in the index page. I'm not sure if this is to do with me installing wordpress 2.9.2, but I find that sometimes, some of my posts have shown up on the index page just fine, while some does not show up on the index page at all (excluding the headline and the featured as part of the Arthemia theme I am using).

I am having issues with displaying the following posts in the actual index below the header section:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
could these posts have a particular category in common which may be excluded in the main index?
these posts are all shown top right in the featured box; although one of them is alos shown in the main list(?)

Hi alchymyth, I don't think the category has anything to do with it, as there are other posts with the same categories but has not been excluded in the body of the index. I have shown these posts as part of headline and featured only because these posts are not showing on the body of the index like all the other posts.
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
