   Our site: http://mtnweekly.com does not seem to be showing the latest post on the home page. They show in the slider above but seem to have a delay of a day or two before arriving on the homepage.

   Any ideas? I emailed the developer and he is stumped. I am not using any offsets.

   Do you use w3-total-cache plugin?

   We have in the past, it was not active. I have deleted the W3 files now. Still looks to be acting weird? Now it's every other post not showing..

   Please help, out site and my business is suffering right now as we can not get out latest stories to appear on the homepage.

   You should not delete W3 total cache just like that.

   After removal of W3 plugin;
   Open wp-config.php -> Remove
   define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);

   wp-content > delete
   - advanced-cache.php
   - w3-total-cache-config.php
   - db.php
   - w3tc/ (Whole directory)

   Your site seems to be broken at the moment, delete wp-admin, wp-includes folders and upload a fresh copy of WordPress too.

   I really appreciate you looking at the site and trying to find a solution. I have deleted all the files you mentioned in the order you stated. But the latest stories are still not showing?

   When you switch back to Twenty Eleven theme, do you see latest entries?

   When i check the feed of your site, i see that your most recent entry is
   InElements Rocks the Black Sheep

   and this entry is listed at the footer of your site. You know that you have a magazine style layout. Entries on front page are category based. If you post an entry under category Mountain Sports News, you will most probably see it on featured slider.

   The category was set to all, I changed the layout so it more clear now. I was unable to get the recent post to show with default layout.

   Actually it shows the latest stories in Twenty Ten. So should I contact the theme developer?

    As this is a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.
