   How do I get a list of recent posts in the sidebar widget, but sorted by the most recents authors/contributors, where their name is emphasized first (and linkable to other posts they have written)? Perhaps with variable display elements I can select like author name, date of post, title of post, etc. Is there a way to do this?

   wp-authors plugin does that quite nicely
