    Hello,

I'd just like to understand - is there going to be localized versions of 3.3-betas (or RC, or any at all) and how to get them (I'm interested in particular in Russian translation)?

The language packs for 3.2 branch (event betas) were provided by http://ru.wordpress.org/ but for 3.3 there are no files neither information...

As far as I understand it was proposed that language packs support should be somehow changed in 3.3 - but I cann't find any clear instructions or information about it.

I'm upgrading to the latest betas usign Beta tester plugin but it provides only English-version option...

If somebody could clarify the matter with 3.3 localization for me - I'll be extremelly grateful.

    Thanks in advanced,
    Anna

Thank you for pointing me out...
There is plenty of usefull information on http://wppolyglots.wordpress.com/ but all this translation stuff is a bit confusing for me - because I'm not a translator myself. So I'm afraid I still do not understand properly (sorry for my stupidity) - is there any simple (or complicated) way to get a priliminary language pack for 3.3 betas or not... or it simply does not exist and I should use 3.2 translation or... whatever else...

It doesn't exist yet that I'm aware of, but you can pose that question at polyglots.

Individual translation teams are able to package betas and release candidates, but few do. You can grab their work in progress for 3.3 from GlotPress at http://translate.wordpress.org/, or just use their 3.2 language files until final release.

Language packs are a separate (future) project that involve plugins and themes, not core.
