   I would like to make some minor adjustments to the .mo and .po language files, but which editor to use ?

   I have now tried opening the files in Notepad, Wordpad and Word, but they all show coded crap.

   Which editor can handle those files so that it is possible to edit the language files ?

   A po file can be edited with PoEdit : http://www.poedit.net/

   ... and when saved, it creates automatically a .mo file.
