   Hello Community!

   I would like to use a theme like venture by themeforest or a similar theme.
   HOWEVER: I would like to build a landingpage, that has a totally different design: just three big buttons in the center and a login box in the upper right corner. I want no menus, no widgets no backgroundcolor, no header and no footer.
   I thought of builing this page with html.
   But: can I tell WordPress to accept this as the new index.html? or can it only be landingpage.html? and how would I put the wordpress login in the html-dokument?

   Yup! Create a custom page template and then tell WordPress to use it by going into the the reading link under settings...

   Relativity easy to do!

   Would you recommend the pluggin "Improved Include Page" for a static start page/ splash page?
