[resolved] Landing page occasionally loads incorrectly (3 posts)

I built my website about 6 months ago without much technical skill (thank you WP Help, Support Forums and Google!). The URL is http://www.risk-within-reason.com. But I've been finding that my site randomly loads incorrectly, sometimes showing the full landing page, complete with all the links, widgets and tags, and sometimes loads in a simplified version just showing the text of the most recent blog post without any of the widgets or links to other pages.

I wanted to include a screenshot of the simplified version, but not sure how to load that into the comment frame.

When this happens, I usually click on refresh and it shows the site properly. i worry that my viewers are missing out on the important info and contact links in correct landing page.

Also, sometimes it shows the blog post title and sometimes it doesn't, despite the fact that I always input it in the title field. A refresh often helps. But it's annoying and I don't know why it happens.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thank you esmi!
Don't know why I didn't think of that. I deactivated them all and then reactivated one at a time, as you suggested and found two that were triggering this problem. They weren't key plugins so I left them off. Hopefully won't have this issue any more.
    You learn something every day.
I think i was also getting a bit giddy with the plugins. Learning that in some cases less is more....
