I am trying to incorporate a landing page to my site. The idea is when a visitor comes to mysite.com there will an image shown for 3 seconds. How can I create this with wordpress? I have been checking the static-front page plugin, the redirect plugin but I am not able to find the solution. Could somebody give me a little hint? Many thanks!!!

I have actually not changed anything to the loop or php files... yet. Was wondering where to start, but it seems from the loop:-) will check the codex now. Cheers, Michiel -
Posted 6 years ago #Actually this was easy: I will use an index.html file as landing page with a redirect to the wordpress index.php. Appearantly .html files are opened first:-)
